La Antigua Escuela, or "The Old School," initiative is an holistic education model accessible for everyone. Gain hands-on, in-person experience in creative and practical life skills. Classes offered by locals and foreigners are designed to educate inspire and uplift the community.
Our mission is to strengthen strategic collaborations, local food systems, economies and cohesion - with and between locals and visitors. Therefore, we organize and host meetings, events, multi-day biocultural immersions and leadership retreats that grow regenerative skills among community-driven groups, conscious travellers, social entrepreneurs, land stewards, and community weavers.
Incubating Strategic Projects
We initiate and incubate projects/initiatives that improve the local social, cultural, and economic infrastructure, until they're able to stand on their own. All of our incubation activities, The Mercado Verde, Cajas de Abundancia, Cajas Verdes, and Manos Cambiadas are rooted in local traditions and ways of living.
